The second section is the one worth reading. It is the same sentence the product shows inside its own glossary, and everything else here is written to be consistent with it.

Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of PairScore, To Be An M.D. and this website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an institution, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
What PairScore is, and what it is not
PairScore is a decision-support tool. It does not predict, guarantee, or make admissions decisions. It has no relationship with any admissions committee, and no score, tier or insight it produces should be treated as a forecast of an outcome.
Decisions about where to apply, what to write, and what to change about your application remain yours. Where an advisor, a pre-health office or a mentor is available to you, the product is intended to inform that conversation rather than replace it.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put into your profile and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit content you do not have the right to submit, including another person's application material.
- Do not attempt to extract the scoring model, scrape the service, or use automated means to create accounts or generate scenarios.
- Do not use the service to harass another user, and do not misrepresent your role when joining a mentorship cohort.
- Do not resell, sublicense or present the output of the service as a product of your own.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write. You grant us the license we need to host, process and display it back to you, and to process it through the automated interpretation described in the privacy policy, for the purpose of operating the service for you. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.
Plans and availability
Some features are limited on free accounts; Growth Playground currently includes two scenarios on a free account. Paid plans are not yet available, and no pricing is published. If and when they are introduced, existing account holders will be told what changes before it takes effect and will not be charged without agreeing to a price first.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the product develops.
Institutions and cohorts
An institution using To Be An M.D. is responsible for the lawfulness of the participant data it uploads, for obtaining any consent its own policies require, and for how it uses the pairings a Match Run proposes. Match Run output is a proposal for a coordinator to approve, not an automated decision made about a participant.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In particular, we make no warranty that any score, tier, insight or pairing is accurate, complete, or predictive of any admissions or educational outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of an opportunity, arising out of your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending your use
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation or another person's safety.
Changes, governing law and contact
We will post material changes to these terms on this page and update the date at the top before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@pairscore.com.
